A burger created to help producers affected by the COVID-19 crisis.
At the toughest moment of the pandemic, with all its restaurants closed, McDonald’s decided to launch a new product: a burger created to help those sectors of the Spanish countryside hardest hit by the COVID-19 economic crisis.
To achieve this, a process used that was the complete opposite of the usual practice. Normally, a recipe is designed and then suppliers are sought. In this case the hardest hit suppliers and ingredients were sought and then the recipe was created.
